The Shuffle Poker Chip Trick

Many poker players especially during the World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour events are doing the shuffle chip trick. Even in ordinary poker rooms worldwide, the sound of chips being shuffled is very common. Another name for the shuffle chip trick is the "riffle". This is a poker chip trick that once you learn to do it, you can't stop doing it.

You will need an even number of chips such as six or more poker chips. Make two stacks of chips like three chips in every stack. Place the stacks side by side on the table. It is best to practice the trick on a table that has a soft surface like the poker table. A hard pillow is also a good choice. Practicing on a softer surface will let you lift the stacks correctly.

For beginners, it is also good to use different colors of chips for each stack. Using different colors can let you see if you are doing the shuffle chip trick correctly.

This is how you will begin the trick. On the left stack, place your thumb on the lower left corner and your index finger on the upper left corner. On the right stack, place your ring finger on the upper right corner and the pinky finger on the lower right corner. The middle finger must be place in between the two stacks of chips.

Now, using your middle finger, lift up both the two stacks of chips. While you are lifting them, slowly push each individual stack in using those fingers place on the outside edges of the chips. Decrease the pressure that the middle finger applied to the stacks. The gravity will take its natural course making the two separate stacks to be as one stack of chips. The chips should be alternating from the two stacks.

When you have already learned the shuffle chip trick, you can do a little variation out of it. To lift the stacks, you may use all of your fingers. With a little help from the middle finger in lifting the stacks, the chips will simply fall into its proper place once the pressure is out.

Your mouse pad can also be a perfect place to practice doing the shuffle chip trick because of its soft surface. Once you learned to do the trick, you can have more poker chips added to the stack and try to do the trick a little bit faster this time.

One benefit of doing this kind of poker chip trick is that it can be a stress reliever. The shuffle chip trick worked for others as a stress reliever and it will absolutely work for you, too.
